What Does Christian Stewardship
Mean in 2006
at Towson Presbyterian Church?

At Towson Presbyterian Church (TPC) in 2006, Christian Stewardship begins
with the recognition of God's grace in our lives. God, as covenant-maker,
calls individuals and communities of faith into a covenant relationship. In
response to God's gift of Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in
personal discipleship, in a shared and giving ministry.
Members and friends of TPC reflect Christian Stewardship in many
different ways.
We share our wealth and possessions
with persons and agencies
who minister to persons in need.
We give willingly of our time and talents
in our private lives and public order,
using the gifts God has given to us
to assure that all creation is fulfilled.
We assure that the world will remain a gift
for current and future generations.
We know that we are always
growing, developing, advancing,
and carefully building those gifts
with which God has so richly blessed each one of us.

Members and friends of TPC are people who live
with the confidence, the vision, and the biblical understanding
that Christian Stewardship is growing the gifts of life,
generosity, mission, and hope.
And, Christian Stewardship is the wise
investment of these remarkable gifts. God invites us to increase
the harvest of these gifts for use by current and future generations.
