Volunteer |
|
| As you may know, our organization is mainly a volunteer driven undertaking. We need help from people willing to contribute their time. The following is a list of how adults can help out. | |
Advisors |
An advisor is a responsible adult either young or old who is interested in helping out with carrying out activities and devotions with the youth group. The
responsibilities of the advisor include being present at fellowship and other activities, working with the Director of Youth Ministries and other advisors individually and at planning meetings, providing discipline, and providing guidance through meaningful relationships. No doubt, this is the most time consuming way to
volunteer, but it is definitely the most rewarding. If interested, please contact the Director of Youth Ministries, Jim Isphording, at jisphording@towsonpres.org. |
Dinner |
At most fellowships, a dinner is provided for the youth, advisors, and parents present. This cannot be done without the parents. We need parents or other church members interested in showing their culinary skills to help out. If you would like, you can be reimbursed by giving a receipt to Kathryn Bojanowski in the church office. If interested, contact the dinner coordinator,
Jim Isphording, at jisphording@towsonpres.org. |
Drivers/Chaperones |
Occasionally, when advisors cannot drive, or there is an excess of participants and not enough drivers, we rely on parents interested in attending to drive. Occasionally, this may mean being a part of the activity if the activity is offsite. If you would like to help out, please contact Jim at jisphording@towsonpres.org. |
