Maryland Environmental Human Rights Amendment (Info Session)

Join Parish Associate Rev. Mary Gaut on January 12th at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Mary will be joined by MEHRA advocate Robbine Gray, who will provide an overview of the amendment and how you can support it. Our Presbytery of Baltimore has asked Earth Care Congregations to help share information regarding the Maryland Environmental Human Rights Amendment (MEHRA), which is designed to provide all who reside in Maryland the constitutional right to a healthy environment. If passed, this amendment would join Maryland with five other states and dozens of other countries in providing this fundamental right. To learn more about the amendment click here.
