(Oct. 15, 2020) TPC volunteers work with the Student Support Network to assist food insecure children and families that attend Baltimore County Public Schools. Every month, our volunteers meet at Loch Raven Technical Academy, which is located at 8101 Lasalle Rd. in Towson, to distribute boxes of food, diapers, fresh fruit and more to children and families in need.
This month, volunteers, including Jim Lyons and Barb Plunkett, were on the front lines loading boxes into family cars. (Many families share one car.) The COVID-19 pandemic is exacerbating pre-existing inequalities and many children need our now.
