Families grow in faith best by growing together. While we deeply value our Church School program, we also recognize that children and parents need to explore and practice faith together at home. At TPC, we want to equip parents to be the leaders in their family's spiritual formation.
Fourth Soil Parenting Project
TPC was blessed to be a part of the 4th Soil Parenting Project through Vibrant Faith, a three-year program that has inspired us to believe in the importance of parents in their children’s faith formation. 4th Soil is a reference to Jesus’s Parable of the Soils and the fourth set of seeds that fell on rich and fertile soil and grew abundantly. At TPC we are striving to offer programs that invite parents to be in relationship with one another and see their parenting as a sacred calling from God.
P5 Moms Connect Group
P5 Moms is designed for women navigating the beautiful, busy years of early motherhood. Named for mothers who are Pregnant, and/or have children through 5th grade, this group offers a supportive space to build authentic friendships, share faith, and find encouragement.
From casual monthly social nights with dinner or an occasional outing, P5 connects you with a community of peers who understand the joys and challenges of raising young children. Regular monthly meetups have included axe throwing, cookie decorating, paint by numbers, and always dinner.
We meet the second Friday of the month from 6:30-8:30, October thru June.

In the Park! Series
The “In the Park!” Series is one of our newest community engagement and outreach initiatives. Through these gatherings, we seek to build relationships with our immediate neighbors and be a blessing in our community.
Pizza in the Park, Pastries in the Park, and Kona Ice in the Park bring Towson Presbyterian Church members together with individuals and families from the Southland Hills and West Towson neighborhoods at the Dino Park on Highland Avenue, just down the street from the church. We provide the treats, the hospitality, and the opportunity for meaningful conversation.
These simple gatherings help our neighbors put friendly faces to Towson Presbyterian Church while creating natural opportunities to introduce them to all that TPC has to offer, including Camp BeeTree, LOGOs, the P5 Moms Group, and many other ministries and events.
By meeting people where they already gather and sharing something as simple as a slice of pizza or a sweet treat, we can reflect God’s love, foster genuine relationships, and be a positive presence in our neighborhood.
Take-A-Break
Take-A-Break meets on the 4th Sunday of the month after worship and is a welcoming gathering for parents of middle and high school students. Join us for relaxed conversation, thoughtfully prepared light fare, and a brief pause from demanding schedules to connect with others navigating the same busy season of life.
