SESSION
Our governing board is called the Session, and is made up of nine church members who have been elected by the congregation to serve a three-year term. This structure not only gives all church members a voice in the church's leadership, but also ensures perpetual evolution within the governing board itself. The Session oversees all of TPC’s ministries, as well as the church’s property and finances. Because this is far too much for one board to accomplish on their own, Session delegates much of the practical work to ministry teams (or committees) that hold responsibility for a particular area of church ministry.

DEACONS
TPC’s Board of Deacons offers ministries of care and hospitality throughout our community of faith. This board is made up of 24 deacons who’re elected by the congregation to serve three-year terms. You’ll find our Deacons at every church event, greeting and assisting members and visitors in any way they can. Deacons welcome at worship services, assist members with chair lifts and the elevator, and serve as friendly reminders of God's presence among us. Deacons also offer their hearts and hands within a ministry of care and compassion to members who are struggling or are in need.

COMMITTEES
Anyone with an interest in a particular area of ministry is warmly invited to participate on a committee. Through these ministry teams, working in partnership with a staff liaison, members’ gifts and passions are guided by the Holy Spirit to bring TPC’s mission to life. Most committees meet virtually on a monthly basis.

Meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm
Plans and creates a year round schedule of small groups and faith formation offerings designed to help folks grow closer to God and closer to others.

Facilitates a vibrant weekly church school program for children in the nursery through 5th grace, and plans family and inter-generational events to help families and folks grow together.

Oversees the schedule and production of print and electronic communication (website, social media, etc.) to the congregation and community-at-large, and oversees the Sunday Morning Technology sub-committee.

Strives to help TPC grow relationship with those beyond our specific community of faith, as TPC transitions from offering a welcome to those we don’t know to being intentionally invitational to each and all.

Action Teams
