Our governing board is called the Session, and is made up of nine church members who have been elected by the congregation to serve a three-year term. This structure not only gives all church members a voice in the church's leadership, but also ensures perpetual evolution within the governing board itself. The Session oversees all of TPC’s ministries, as well as the church’s property and finances. Because this is far too much for one board to accomplish on their own, Session delegates much of the practical work to ministry teams (or committees) that hold responsibility for a particular area of church ministry. DEACONS
TPC’s Board of Deacons offers ministries of care and hospitality throughout our community of faith. This board is made up of 24 deacons who’re elected by the congregation to serve three-year terms. You’ll find our Deacons at every church event, greeting and assisting members and visitors in any way they can. Deacons welcome at worship services, assist members with chair lifts and the elevator, and serve as friendly reminders of God's presence among us. Deacons also offer their hearts and hands within a ministry of care and compassion to members who are struggling or are in need. Current deacons include:

COMMITTEES
Anyone interested in a particular area of ministry is warmly invited to participate in a committee. It is through these ministry teams, in partnership with a staff liaison, that members' gifts and passions are mobilized with the Holy Spirit to bring TPC's mission to life! Most committees meet virtually on a monthly basis. To inquire about joining a committee, simply contact the committee chair.
Action Teams
In addition to committees, TPC has three "Action Teams" that lead initiatives surrounding the issues of peacemaking, hunger, and earthcare. You can learn more about these teams under the "Serve" tab on the main menu.
