Prayer Partners is a simple yet powerful way to strengthen and/or build a relationship within TPC and experience the spiritual practice of prayer this Advent season.
Here’s how it works: We’ll connect you with someone from TPC (males partnered with males; females with females) and once a week throughout Advent you and you partner will connect either in person, virtually or over the phone (No texting or email!) for roughly fifteen minutes, sharing prayer requests with one another. The goal is to share what is really going on in your life and what really matters. What are you grateful for right now? And what concerns do you need to share? Where do you need help? You are then encouraged to pray together with your partner or promise to pray for them on your own later that day.
Prayer Partners in Advent will help you grow a relationship within TPC, increase your capacity to listen well to another, and finally, help you to practice your faith this Advent season. While the premise is simple, it has the potential to be a powerful experience for you and your prayer partner.
