Book Study: Love is the Way
A churchwide book study exploring how we can live out hope and love amidst the seemingly insurmountable challenges facing the world today.
This fall, TPC is offering (and encouraging) a churchwide book study of Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times by Bishop Michael Curry. Much of the world met Michael Curry, a civil rights activist and priest, when he delivered his sermon on the redemptive power of love at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In his book, he expands on his message of hope in an inspirational road map for living the “Way of Love,” illuminated with lessons from his own life. He offers the “Way of Love” as essential in addressing the seemingly insurmountable challenges facing the world today: poverty, racism, deep ideological divisions, competing claims to speak for God. His book offers guidance for how to live with hope, to bridge the divide and to see the potential in others and the world today, with God’s help.
