Children's Ministries

Children aren’t merely the church’s future.  They’re a vital and vibrant part of the church today, for which TPC is deeply grateful!  We take great care and pride in offering meaningful and impactful ministries that help children explore the stories of Scripture, the depths of God’s love for them, and how their lives are such a tremendous part of God’s love story with the world.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic all children's ministries (including church school) are currently remote.  Please see below for a meaningful, accessible remote church school class for children and families alike!

Register NOW for 2022 Camp BeeTree

Overview: Camp BeeTree is an intergenerational week-long camp for children who have completed Kindergarten through Grade 5. The camp is held the second full week of July with each day beginning at Towson Presbyterian Church in Towson and the campers and CITs along with staff ride in buses up to BeeTree Preserve, a 260 acre hiking, picnic, and open space facility in Parkton, MD.

The BeeTree Preserve borders the Torrey C. Brown Trail (formerly the NCR Trail) and contains two covered pavilions, bathroom facilities, and a cemetery/meditation area.

Children, youth, and adults join together for a VBS-type experience from 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. each day (after-care is available until 5pm).

A design team plans a fun, inspiring, formational program for children, who are assisted by 20 youth Counselors- In-Training (Grades 6 and up). A much-loved tradition for youth is a fellowship/ work camp to ready Camp BeeTree. This program is offered as an all-day program on the Saturday before camp starts.
